The NBPNP is a provincial immigration program made possible through an agreement with the Government of Canada. As an economic program, the NBPNP selects, and nominates, qualified workers from around the world who will live in New Brunswick and contribute to the New Brunswick economy through full time ongoing employment.
Express Entry Stream
The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream helps New Brunswick employers recruit foreign nationals and international graduates whose skills are in limited supply in the province and who have been unable to fill job vacancies with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (PR). The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream is for workers with the skills, education and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy, and who are ready to live and work in New Brunswick permanently. In order to be eligible to submit to the New Brunswick Express Entry PNP, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must have an active Express Entry profile
- Must be currently living and working in New Brunswick
- Must be working in a position at NOC Code 0, A, or B
- Must have a valid language test scores in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 7 (CLB 7)
- Must have an Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA) showing education equivalent to a Canadian High School diploma

Post-Graduate Entrepreneur Stream
New Brunswick accepts applications under this category from individuals who have graduated from a recognized academic institution in New Brunswick, and have started or acquired a business in the province.
Entrepreneur Stream
New Brunswick accepts applications under this category from individuals who plan to own and actively manage a business in New Brunswick. Applicants are expected to make a monetary investment in the business.
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot
New Brunswick is one of four participating Atlantic provinces working with the Government of Canada to recruit foreign workers to meet labour market shortages in Atlantic Canada. Foreign nationals interested in participating in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program may be residing abroad or on temporary status in Canada at the time of applying.
All applicants to the pilot must have a job offer from a designated employer that meets the requirements of the program
